Has there ever in the USA history been a worse President than Jimmy Carter? In my mind the mess we are in currently in the Middle East was because of his wimpy response to the hostage taking in Iran during his term.

While Carter was the worst ever, Bush has only himself to blame over in the Middle East. He should of routed the terrorists out of Syria (and found the WMD's), He should of forced the Saudis and Kuwaitis into lower oil prices and he should of started some gas refineries.

"Has there ever in the USA history been a worse President than Jimmy Carter?"

The "Worst President in History" title was formerly held by James Buchanan, whose bumbling lack of leadership in the late 1850's contributed in large part to the outbreak of the Civil War. Six months into his presidency Jimmy Carter had already taken the title for all time. Even Slick Willie at his very worst was better than Carter.

If, God forbid, we ever elect someone worse than Carter, we will be on the slippery slope to oblivion.

No.

There was a monograph publication sponsored by a Colorado Utility called "The Coercive Utopians" that clearly spelled out in detail how Carter blocked so much American development of natural resources...you would know that he KNEW what the world he was doing...at least on behalf of the liberal handlers.

He was the worst (most dispicable), next to FDR, and he knew it.
