Note to Palis, you have a country. Maybe you should stop blowing up innocent people and find doctors. Why should Israel risk having her citizens blown up in order to help people that have killed thousands of Israelis? I recall more than one suicide bombed disquised as a pregnant woman and also pregnant women in a Red Crescent ambulance with bombs aboard as well. Why should Palis care...people who strap bombs on children have no interest in protecting children.

Perhaps the IDF should just wave through any woman with a giant bulge on her abdomen. /sarcasm

In some cases, pregnant women had to change from one ambulance to another on the other side of a checkpoint when Israeli security forces would not let the ambulance through, the office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights said.

Maybe if the ambulances weren't used to transport homicide bombers, they might get through more often.

"Do Palestinians get to claim a "right of return" if their child is born in Israel? Just wondering."

Thank goodness, no.

You can turn your sets off there.

Mine was off when I saw "Reuters."

"According to a U.N. report, pregnant Palestinian women encountering delays in IDF checkpoints run a high risk of medical complications, death to newborns"

Simple solution to this is to prohibit pregnant women from crossing checkpoints.

Are these the same people who said that like a zillion Iraqi babies died because of the US sanctions again Iraq before Saddam was kicked out?

Thanks for the reply. I guess Israel is smarter than the U.S. on babies born on their soil. As is most every other nation in the world, IIRC.

Israeli babies die when Palestinian women stand next to them and blow up. That's a headline you'll never see.

"Why don't they just go to their PALISTINIAN hospital and give birth??? "

Why would they let an infidel aid in the birth of their next suicide bomber?

And the wealthy Arabs and Muslims and European sympathizers can't pony up to build these "poor" people a hospital???

A fake pregnant belly on a woman is a GREAT place to hide some Semtex.

My favorite all time picture.

Pretty much sums up my feeling on the whole area of Middle East policy since 1948.
