Not now. I bet that Schroeder will gain the secret vote of Communists (>50) in Bundestag, so that he will remain Chancellor for some months. However, the Bundesrat (i.e. the High House... corresponding to our Senate) has a strong CDU-CSU majority (jointly with Liberal they have >2/3 of votes there), potentially blocking every important law approved by the other part of the Parliament, where - as you know - the votes are split.
