It took my hubby 26 hours to bring his aunt up to Dallas from Galveston - he said the folks on the road were absolutely wonderful! Polite, helpful and friendly! Thank heavens...I know it made this ordeal a whole lot easier for everyone involved.


They are saying this is that largest mass evacuation in US history ~ I was wondering about that earlier ... I couldn't think of any thing that even came close to this!

I've been stuck in Houston traffic before. I'm really impressed with how well it's actually going.

yea it has to be largest evac ever,,,Houston is 4th largest city i u.s.,,,,,when have chicago, new york or LA ever been evacuateD,,,,makes sense I guess,,,,

Have any of you heard of any looting in houston yet??
