The press is unable to handle him because he calls a spade a spade. He managed to keep himself and the men under his command out of some serious $#!T that others were stirring up.
I couldn't believe the way he flooded NO with troops in less than 18 hours after Blanco cried and wrang her hands for 4 days.
I don't know if it was because he was honorable or smart (I believe it was both) but he brought order without any jackboot tactics. Had force been needed I am sure he would have applied it ruthlessly to those who deserved it - not the law abiding citizens.
