To be intellectually honest, Brown was a deputy at Fema for 16-months, was confirmed by the Senate by a voice vote, and had no trouble until the LSM joined with the Dummyrats to try pin everything on Bush.
In fact, if you to Rightwing nut house, the time line of events vindicates Brown. So will history.

Well, if a political appointee is what Bush wanted why did he replace Brown with an actual seasoned veteran named Peterson, who is currently running FEMA. And actually has EXPERIENCE Why did he not replace Brown with another in experienced Appointee? I'll tell you why. Americans will not be satisfied with political appointees(WITH NO EXPERIENCE) running extremely important departments after 9/11.
