The ad appeared in the "Washington Post" this morning. It is sick and stupid and an insult to all those who died fighting for their country.

Sheehan is a whackjob.

The "It's all about Meeeee!" moonbat in the photo can't be paying for the ad campaign. She's just a "poor grieving mother" from Vacaville, CA. Who's bankrolling it? George Soros, Tee-Ray-Zah Heinz Frankenkerry, or both?

Now we know where all that money they raised for the hurricane went.

I saw it on Fox News this morning. It's pretty obnoxious, but looks like it might be effective.

I really am not one to bring up people's looks as a way to insult them...but the picture in the initial post really makes her look like a transexual. She is REALLY unnatractive.

This ad showed up as a double-pager in the Rocky Mountain News today. It's an effective ad, especially for people who don't follow the Middle-East closely.

I still wish our Prez would effectively make his case why Iraq is an essential element of the WOT. He's losing the PR battle.

Effective to what end? Destroying our troops while they serve? Effective against the women who voted in Afghanistan this week? Effective against the torture machine of Saddam? Effective against a decent man who is our President, whom this woman does not respect at all?

The leftist rag the Village Voice has reported that this weekend, between rallies at the White House sponsored by United for Peace and Justice and International ANSWER,
Sheehan will make a side trip to share her concerns and keen foreign policy insights with the likely 2008 Democratic presidential candidate.

"...Hillary’s decision comes after Sheehan told the press she was “so frustrated” with the Democratic all-star for not endorsing immediate, unilateral withdrawal from Iraq.

At a rally on Sunday, Sheehan reassured her supporters Hillary is “waiting for the best political moment to say” she favors the pullout, warning Hillary in no uncertain terms: “You say it, or you’re losing your job.”

Sheehan’s fiery rhetoric represents a new tactic: targeting prominent Democrats for defeat if they do not parrot her solution to Iraq. “It’s time for them to step up and be the opposition party,” Sheehan said. Learning the lessons of Vietnam, Sheehan forecasts, “This war is not going to end unless the Democrats are on board with us...”

Thought some of you might like to use a couple of the quotes in this thread for FReeper signs

I like these examples:

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." -- President Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." -- President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face." -- Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." -- Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." Letter to President Clinton, signed by Democratic Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others, Oct. 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." -- Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies." -- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

Please God make this gross woman go away.

And the 'x lied and x died' is such a stupid, overused, lame slogan that it makes me cringe in pain.
