The EYE is scheduled to make landfall on Friday night/Saturday morning. Rita is a BIG storm. The texas coast will probably start seeing the outer rain bands sometime tonight, and be seeing high winds by tomorrow afternoon. NOLA will see outer rain bands later this morn by the looks of it
