See how this thing tracks, and if the roads clear up. Then reconsider. In any case, be ready to go. If you stay, be prepared for about a week without water, power and sewer services. Can your kids take the 100 degree heat for a week?

It may be better to evacuate after the storm due to the traffic. It is truly brutal out there and if you don't have the gas, there's no point.
