As I have mentioned several times on FR my grandfather was a survivor of the Galveston storm of 1900. The stories he told me when I was small are embedded in my mind like I experienced them. Issac's Storm is exactly what my grandfather told me many years ago.

Ditter they just interviewed a few folks on Fox that had a grandfather or someone that survived, while showing the original damage footage. I hope you got to see it.

I didn't know this....
...How old was your grandfather at the time?....
...it must have been horrible...during and after, with all those bodies....
..the book was hard to read.....I can't imagine actually being there...

As I have mentioned several times on FR my grandfather was a survivor of the Galveston storm of 1900 I have to read FR to find out that info from a friend and near neighbor?

I'm all tucked in here. I want to let some of the early rain water my patio plants before I bring them in, otherwise I'm good to go.
