She is only moving forward at 9 mph. If Rita is 150 miles wide that will take it more that 16 1/2 hours to pass over an area.

Wow. Well, let's hope something happens to give her a goose.

I am kind of hoping it will remain at 9 until everyone gets out of Dodge. Then when it hit land I am hoping it loses steam real fast and speed up its forward mph.
