I'm guessing the ships are entering and exiting the Houston Ship Channel.
That brought back memories of living in Galveston as a little girl. We were taking swimming lessons in the hotel pool and one day they were cleaning it so the instructor took us to the beach. I almost drowned in one of those ship wakes.

Grammy award winning artist CeCe Winans will host this national event staged in Atlantas Centennial Olympic Park. Gospel Angels will include performances from Nicole C. Mullen, Israel & New Breed, Blind Boys of Alabama, Natalie Grant, NewSong, BarlowGirl, George Huff, Aaron Shust and Third Day.
The Worship Network will broadcast the concert via live streaming at http://www.worship.net/ from 8pm-10pm EST on Thursday, September 22nd.
The Worship Network will also broadcast the event multiple times on its television channel, which can be seen via the Sky Angel satellite system (http://www.skyangel.com/) and on over 40 digital TV stations (www.worship.net/dtv).
