President Bush is NOT a Jr., and usually, people who call him that, were NEVER for him to begin with.

President Bush the younger, is as Conservative, if not more so, and has done far more Conservative things, than Reagan. Go read Southack's personal page for the list, which has been posted and reposted and re-reposted for years and updated and posted again, all over FR.

I'm not one of the drooling sycophants of the president's, here, but I am a stickler for facts over emotion and selective memory.

Reagan nominated some good and some dreadful people. You and Ann aren't allowed to ignore the dreadful ones and she shouldn't slam Roberts all the time; it's petulant and very stupid on her part!

I certainly don't grant Reagan sainthood. I detested his wife and his poof son Ronnie. If Bush "Jr." --now does that make you happy--is conservative, he's got me fooled. Has he vetoed any spending bills? Has he cracked down on illegal immigration? Has he put a lot of political cronies in jobs where they were in over their heads-- and I'm not talking Brown here. Has he stood up to his critics? Has he given us a press secretary who is not just a MSM punching bag? Has he said we will pay for hurricane relief by cutting foolish pork barrel spending? Has he faced down Dingy Harry Reid and the DUmmycrats by giving us a tried and true SCOTUS nominee? Has he pointed out that Islam is not a religion of peace, or has he continued to invite jerks from CAIR into the White House for touchy-feely sessions? If that's conservatism, I'm not with the program regardless of what the guy "Southhack" has to say.
