I can't imagine why it seemed like 6 years. I guess it's because this administration has become so dreary. I appreciate your correction but I doubt the extra year will result in much. The initiative has been lost, and I can't see Dubya regaining it. Glad to know you're an optimist however. What depresses me most is that our likely choices will be Mclame, Frist, and Guiliani.
My goodness don't be so pessimistic. I think you have let the MSM's constant hate Bush bias get the best of you. I am an optimist by nature and I do believe things will turn around. Politics is always event driven and it won't be long until the next 'event', whatever it is, occurs. Perhaps the next one will be good for President Bush and then everything will change. Remember the old saying, 'it's always darkest before the dawn'.
