You know what message you and your wife have actually sent? THAT YOU AREN'T A RELIABLE VOTER AND DON'T MATTER TO THE GOP AT ALL. So, in order to appeal to more voters, they go left. Yep, you really "taught 'em a lesson"....NOT! LOL

Another poster wrote today that the definition of stupid is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

By your logic, if a company keeps promising something that they can't (or won't) deliver then you should keep buying the product anyway so that you will still "matter."

Also by your logic, we could drive the Democratic party to the Right by voting for them.

How does voting for the same bunch of people that pull a bait and switch every election cycle actually accomplish anything? The GOP is certainly light years better than the Democrats but they are both far off course.

Okay, I give up...you are beyond help and reason. You've dug yourself into that ditch and though the floodtide is rising, it's your ditch and you'd rather drown in it, than admit that perhaps you shouldn't have gotten into it at all.

You'd really be happier on another forum. You might consider going over to LP; unless the last shakeup there, not only cleaned out most of the unstable lunatics, but perhaps got rid of the fringers as well.

The Libertarian Party has lost members for the last decade. They have NO chance of ever wining any election of importance; not ever! Voting fringe is not only throwing your vote away, it IS helping the Dems. Oh yes, and it is not, not, NOT, in any way, shape, manner, nor form, a way of "sending a message"/ "teaching a lesson" to the GOP!

The Libertarian Party is closer to the GREENIES, than to anything considered to be Conservative.

The FFs were wise men. Like it or not, they were dead set against a parliamentary system and a parliamentary system is the ONLY kind of political system where coalition governments permissible. Since there will never be coalition governments here, there is less than no way for fringe parties/candidates to have any say to.

Ron Paul ran for elected office as a Libertarian, several times. He lost every single one of those races. Now, he runs under the GOP banner, gets elected, and sides with the damned DEMS, most of the time., He is odd man out, has less than no influence, and so, if you want to use him as an example, please don't.
