At this rate, the GOP will soon be a religious and morality party only.

That will still make this country a better place than the rats. The last several elections have consistently solidified gains to the right. We did not get to our current level of socialism over night. It was done incrementally. It can be reversed incrementally.

It is not clear how INCREASING the level of socialism can be seen as reversing it. Is it because the party doing it has an (R) by their names?

Regardless, a party that only cateers to religous and morality issues won't get elected to much anyway. Bush got the votes he did because he ran as a conservative - not a socialist with soft spot for morality issues.

While most fiscal conservatives won't bolt to the democrats, they won't vote for a religous party either.

I agree, I told my husband it cannot be done with an wink of the eye, it will take years to undo what the socialist have done. I do believe the more conservative of the Republican party will win over the RINO's (thanks rep)in the long run and it does take time and patience and strategy...incrementally.
