IT's gridlock. They're just trying to get the people in the storm surge areas out right now. Those of us that are just in danger from the wind are pretty much out of luck at this point in time. We're talking 5 hours to go 10 miles.

I've heard the same thing. It took one of our friends 1.5 hrs to go from Clay Road/Beltway to the I-10 interchange.

When do they start the contraflow? It seems like that would speed things up to counter the gridlock. I'm definitely praying for all of you guys in Houston and all others in the storm's path.
