I thought Midler died of some form of pig cancer. Oh well, must have been wishful thinking.

Remove the "a" from 'rotating' and it reads better.

Not to hysteric moron Leftists. When you are at a Charity fund raiser keep your idiotic political opinions to yourselves. When you use this Charity event as a forum for yet another Bush bashing rant, 64 MILLION Bush votes snap their checkbooks closed and say "Screw YOU losers". There is a time and place for everything, this was neither.

"I got a letter from the Republican Party the other day. I wrote back, 'Go fuck yourself.'" She then added, "George Bush is a fan of mine -- he came to see me in the Seventies. His coke dealer brought him." Classy. Then they stand up and cheer for a lying rapist who never gave a thought to anything other than where his next bj coming from.....

Bette Midler had even stronger words: "I got a letter from the Republican Party the other day. I wrote back, 'Go fuck yourself.'" She then added, "George Bush is a fan of mine -- he came to see me in the Seventies. His coke dealer brought him." Whoa! Maybe her coke dealer cut her off!

This rabid political opportunism is out of control. It's time for closet Republicans, in Hollywood and all points beyond, to dust-off the mothballs of intimidation and apathy and speak out in support of this fine President and administration. I'm fed up with the level of importance given to all these simple entertainers and their knee-jerk uninformed opinion.

Oh my! How daring and shocking of Ms. M to say the F word in an artistic public performance. One hardly ever hears that word on the streets of New York.

Stick her with a fork...she's done.

"Bette Midler had even stronger words: "I got a letter from the Republican Party the other day. I wrote back, 'Go f**k yourself.'" I saw her in concert a few months ago, and she did a lot of this and with the same 'colorful' language. She tore into Bush, Republicans and Rush. All I really wanted was a concert, not a sermon.

looks like ms middler isn't hurting for nourishment living in this country with Dubya as our leader. Looks like she lives a pretty cushiony life. Looks like she's getting enough to eat and drink huh? If she doesn't like it she can leave. Oh wait...the food and drink wouldn't be as available to her now would it? I forgot...she knows what side of the bread is buttered so while she bad mouths the person who provides the butter she stuffs it into her mouth nonetheless.
There's something very pathetic with people who are so needy for attention: Middler, clintin (both of them) kerry, stiesand and the rest of that silly group of people that call themselves humans.
They DO have one thing in common. Has beens ALL.

Every tragedy is now an opportunity for these sick, narcissistic showboats to shoot off their stupid mouths.
Why don't they spare us the "entertainment" and give from their considerable savings. Maybe each star could give 10% of their net worth.
