You might ping this out if it hasn't been addressed already.
For those who have homes that have 2-1/2 baths a 30+ gallon new trash can filled with water makes that one usable too along with the other two with full bathtubs.
Note, some bathtubs have slow leaks. A good cover of plastic wrap over the drain could help.

Note, some bathtubs have slow leaks. A good cover of plastic wrap over the drain could help. I put the top of a plastic butter cup or coffee lid over the drain, open the drain for a second to create suction and then put something the same shape and heavy on top of that. Stops most leaks.
