I believe if people start looking at solar flares...they might see that both the Earth and Mars has similiar problems, and it relates back to the flares. Of course, this kills off the entire idea of global warming...and puts a real scare into people that they cannot control their environment. That might be worse than believing in aliens or UFOs.
