It was so hard to tell people that there were no rooms close or that matter far, I could hear the faint hint of panic in their voices.
Particularly the ones with pets needing a hotel that takes large pets!! Most don't. :(
Katrina is proving to be the wake up call we all needed I suspect. Too many people in our area had became just too complacent for their own good.
Personally I still have a good memory of Carla and especially of Alicia.
People in the Kroger last night were sort of acting like the storm was going to hit in a couple of hours. Frankly, the shopping experience really freaked me out. I hope I don't have to go back. I got a bunch of stuff I can open and eat cold. It's all I need. I've got a pocketknife with an opener. I pity the fool without a swiss army knife.
