I guess we should find out how wide Rita is.
It also bombed out very quickly - I'm hoping it goes crazy and then enters a series of eyewall replacement cycles, and hits the coast during the middle of one of those.
That's about the best hope here - that it'll be a lower-end Cat 4 instead of a Cat 4/5 borderline storm.
Not as big as Katrina, but getting bigger...and she will be pushing a lot of water with her...
