The best way to battle the drug trade is by the vigorous use of MOABs. That way the peasants will know to stay the hell away and give up the labs.

But who are we to judge this tin pot country's ability to handle drugs. Where I live it now takes an act of congress to get pseudophed. Why? Because of the damn meth labs! I tell these idiot law enforcement folks in my county. "Hey! Just look for the trailors and houses that have a pit bull tied by the front door!" The only way to defeat drugs is to make the little guy rich and free when they turn drug dealers in. In America a bounty always works. The same goes for Colombia. When the peasant knows they are rich they will give up positions and then let the MOAB do the dirty.

From what I understand, the peasants have little say in the matter. It's not they who run the labs, it's the drug cartels and THEY make the peasants do, or die.
