I just found this discussion today, but your comment caught my eye. I do think that we conservatives would be flipping out if a book like this were written for children. Actually, conservatives HAVE flipped out over many books that we haven't liked that were written for children. And haven't some conservatives tried to get the liberal children's books out of school libraries?
As far as I'm concerned, though, it's a free market and if you can find a publisher and you can sell it, all the more to you!
I am thrilled that this book is out there for kids. I can't wait to get a copy of it.
