NEW YORK -- The New York Times Co. said Tuesday it would cut 500 jobs, or about 4 percent of its work force, as part of an ongoing effort to reduce costs. The reductions come atop another 200 jobs that were cut earlier this year.
It will be the "little insignificant people" who slave day in and day out to produce the thing who will be hurt. The ones they always claim to be trying to help.
You're right. It'll be the "little people" who the liberal elites always pretend to care about, who'll get hurt.
ROTFLOL ~LOL~ blame it on the Internet! They don't get it -- people have turned to the Internet because these papers are so disingenuous no one wants to read them -- or watch -- or hear -- about Dan Blather, either!
Think what it would be like if women who hated sports ran the "sports" section.
A football story might have a section on player's eating habits -- do they eat politically incorrect food? Another article might deal with the value of artificial fabrics Vs cotton for uniforms and another dealing with how these men treat their wives and girlfriends. No mention of the game, the score, (how tacky) or anything of interest to men who like sports. Just stuff for women who hate sports.
The section could also include snide insults about men who like sports. And editorials looking down on winning coaches. Will this "sports" section be popular?
But that's the way the NYT's covers the war. Lots of stuff of no interest to anyone except someone who hates the war and the military. And that's what makes it boring. Well, part of what makes it boring.
