"KANSAS CITY, MAY 29, 2003: Swarms of violent thunderstorms and tornadoes crashed through trailer parks in the nation's midsection, killing at least 28 people in Kansas, Missouri and Tennessee. Eight more were missing.
Trailers across the region were blown apart by Sunday's storms, trees were uprooted and power lines and other debris blocked roads into and out of some of the swankiest trailer parks in the tri-state area."
"swankiest" trailer parks ?
Note to RS: it says Kansas, Missouri and Tennessee
But you only diss'd Kansas.
Haven't you heard about the million dollar trailer parks off the coast in California. Guess you aren't up to your trailer park stereotyping after all.
"But you only diss'd Kansas. "
Nope - just used the sterotypical "We're not in Kansas anymore Toto" - blame L. Frank Baum
... BTW, that second link was a sarcasm site
but this is kind of an interesting page -
http://www.tornadoproject.com/
and this one also
http://www.epodunk.com/top10/mobile_homes/mobile_homes_by_state.html
Wad'da know ? Kansas is around 30 on the list of most mobile homes - only 6.4 % Who'da thunk it ?
Plans & supplies to leave are set in place. The rest depends on the storm.
Safety is our middle names!
I didn't click on your first links..figured they were more BS.
However, you are persistent...and when you do research, you find that out of 50 states, Kansas was 30th?
So, do you retract your original statement (which, by the way, didn't even come close to the "We're not in Kansas anymore, Toto" statement).
I like that you researched. Thanks
My statement was - I suppose Kansas can grab a bunch of cash for the tornados that WILL hit the trailer parks at some future date,
Do you deny that this WILL happen ?
For one thing, Kansas has one of the best tornado alert systems in the country.
If people lose their homes, trailers or not, don't they deserve the same response as other victims or natural disasters?
What was your point in the first place for the stupid statement again?
"What was your point in the first place for the stupid statement again? "
LOL - you can't even understand the point, yet you consider it stupid. You ignore linked information, deciding without checking it out that they are BS, yet the one that IS sarcasm, you seem to take as real.
Have a great life, my friend ... you brought me a laugh ...
