That's absolutely true. Even tho by all accounts the VFP pulled out of Louisiana days ago.
But they have YET to tell anyone. The news was broken (such as it was) by some anonymous "volunteer" on the VFP's Katrina relief board:

There is a fine line between constantly repeating already processed information, and putting things in context.
You can always go to the site and read some of the hundred plus articles on Cindy and get yourself up to speed.

This reminds me of a Sherlock Holmes case.
A client visited Sherlock Holmes and told him the following story.
Mr. Holmes, I was in a conference room with Santa Claus, an honest lawyer, and a crooked lawyer. I had a brief case full of ten-pound notes so case contained perhaps 400,000 pounds Sterling. The lights went out and when I found the light switch and turned the lights back on, the case and its contents were gone!
Holmes looked at his client and said, "Sir, this case is so elementary, even Dr. Watson could solve it." Holmes then deferred to the doctor.
Watson looked at the client and told him to have the police arrest the dishonest lawyer because everyone knows both Santa Claus and honest lawyers do not exist.
Wait for the chips to land on this one. There are simply too many people involved here who may not be above board.

The VFP also claimed that the Red Cross had declared them to be the "best shelter" doing Katrina relief.
Only trouble is the Red Cross 1) doesn't make such declarations 2) didn't know the VFP existed until recently 3) the VFP have never had a shelter
As we speak the Red Cross (and other agencies and law enforcement types) are actively investigating the VFP for fraud.
The VFP, Cindy Sheehan, Michael Moore and their pals have done their best to divert contributions away from the Red Cross and other legit relief operations--and to themselves. It is simply disgusting.
(Especially when the little bit of supplies the VFP has ever delivered was largely pilfered from the Red Cross.)
Ya know Mo I'm not a mean person but after reading about Cindy, Harry Reid opposing John Roberts and on Littlegreenfootballs they had a post linked to DU saying they were o.k. with the Americans that got killed in Iraq they derserved it my feelings are they can all rot in hell, every last one of them.
Don't these people know that the only way of making $100K illegally without getting caught is... cattle futures.
99% of potential visitors simply aren't going to wade through hundreds of posts. If not a summary paragraph, then include a link at the beginning to a clear explanation of what's going on and who the players are. Like:
