So despite my reservations, I'm afraid that I've become a regular customer!

Me, too. We'll keep it between us as our dirty little secret.

And Caribou Coffee is partly owned by the Islamic Bank which is MUCH easier to boycott

Ignoring the specific message, it is sad that Colleges can't be located IN the United States, where we welcome the free expression of ideas that might be offensive, in order to invoke a full and open debate and to reap the rewards of a people who live free.

I'm sure our college students would benefit from residence in the United States, even though they would hear some things we wouldn't agree with. So maybe we could figure out how to get this "Baylor" university to move to the United States.

What? It IS in the United States? Never mind.....

I agree. Embrace diversity--make sure you have semi-autos, revolvers, pump-action shotguns, etc.

The cups are part of a campaign called “The Way I See It,” which features quotes from a variety of notable figures. They range from the musings of electronic musician Moby to the thoughts of figure skater Michelle Kwan.

Whoa... That Starbucks coffee must really make you smart.

Hey, just think, you get to pay for the "privilege" of being exposed to liberal ideology.

Sanja Gould, a spokeswoman with Starbucks' corporate office, said the company sees the program “as an extension of the coffeehouse culture – a way to promote open, respectful conversation among a wide variety of individuals.”

Starbucks - - it's not just an overpriced fad, it's a culture.

They had a lid on an ice cream cup that had a "swirl" pattern to look like a cone. The "swirl" was deemed to go in the wrong direction and therefore looked "offensive" to some muslims.

The swirl on the label of the ice cream dessert looked like the Arabic script for "Allah." BK yanked the dessert. This took place in Britain, not the U.S.

You know, I still do a doubletake when I see a G.O.D. truck on the highway. I haven't seen one in years. I wonder if they're still around or if I'm not driving enough.

“Whatever you feel, whatever you think about something, discussion is the number one thing to do to educate yourself on an issue.”

Well Valerie Fallas, you might want to read the bible and educate yourself on the issue!

“It's a shame that anybody would do this,” Fallas said. “Whatever you feel, whatever you think about something, discussion is the number one thing to do to educate yourself on an issue.”

And once one is uneducated it becomes unnecessary to have this nonsense around.
