How much do those battery-operated TV's cost? I am thinking that it would be good to have one. When we have heavy rain the satellite doesn't work, and while I have FR, my husband goes nuts not having TV.

But you can find them at even drug stores for under $50.

I got my husband one several years ago at Dollar General - it was $15 or $20. It has a regular electric plug, takes 4 "d" batteries, or can run on the car battery with a cigarette lighter plug.
When we lost power a couple of weeks ago, I went out to Radio Shack and bought one for around $50. I also like the hand-crank radio that Radio Shack has. (I'm not sure, but it might have the audio for certain TV broadcasts.)
