You missed two disasters of recent times in your list. Disasters from which we have yet to fully recover.

Something tells me my survival shelter and supplies won't do much good for that whole total destruction of earth thing. Otherwise I'm ready.

It seems no coast is immune to the threat of tsunami. For the Eastern United States, the likeliest scenario is waves kicked up by an asteroid splashing into the ocean. Astronomers already have their eye on one rock that could hit in the distant future, but the cosmos could hold a surprise, too. I thought the likeliest Atlantic tsunami would be caused by a massive landslide on one of the Canary islands.
We're all gonna die!!!!

The Canary Islands Tsunami deal has been thoroughly debunked by the majority of tsunami researchers.
Landslide tsunami have trouble propagating long distances, unlike earthquake tsunami, though they can be really high nearby; the wavelengths are different, and more jumbled.

What? No disaster around the Great Lakes? I'm deeply saddened that our area is left out of disaster predicitions like this . . . . .
(I felt the last earthquake of any magnitude here from the New Madrid Fault - in the early 70's. Not much shaking to speak of. Our current disaster is a Dem governor and voter fraud in the two largest cities.)

Avian Flu
Most populations of organic nature, will grow at an exponential rate until they exceed the capacity of their environment, and then, due to a delay between the consumption and the capacity to respond to that consumption, the population will plummet rapidly.
This rapid decline in population can also come despite reserve capacity if the population *density* gets high enough. With air travel, I think we are approaching the population density that will result in an international pandemic of the order described in the movie 12 Monkeys.
Avian Flu.

....And the biggest impending disaster---Hitlery as President. She's kind of like that "planet dissolving dust cloud" they're talking about on another thread.
We'll beat her for sure, but any dimocrat would be just as bad....most assuredly better looking....but just as bad.
