I'm glad your monitor is not dying, Freezie! But seeing the graphics as dark charcoal grey sounded like it. The backgrounds are all graphics, and not html *non-dithering* colors, which everyone should see the same, I think.

Another thing that controls the colors one sees is how your color settings are (right-click on the desktop and click *properties* to see where yours are set - mine *are* set the highest true colors, but some monitors have the option of 256 colors, 16 bit, 24 bit or 36 bit)

Dolly, that's also where you set your screen resolution.

Hi, my screen resolution and "true color" setting are the same as yours.

Ah, doesn't involve dithering. Hmm, this is a mystery still then. Hmmmm.
