Btw Where have you been? Short vacation? Let me guess you visited Belarus? North Korea? China? ehhh doesn’t matter! I’m glad that you are back on FR. It was really boring time without you, there was nobody to ague with (you know Gary cannot be treated seriously).

Took a little vacation, went to see my wife's family and some of my friends in Russia and since we were just across the mountains from Georgia and I didn't need a visa to get in, took a 3 day trip there too. Watching the success of that revolution was rather eye opening, especially the poor people who were going through the piles of trash along with the street dogs, didn't see that 5 years ago, the last time I visited. Rather enlightening, I'd say.

Oh and the fact that prices were 3 times more expensive on everything, to include food was something I hadn't planned on, more expensive then I thought. Now I will say they were repaving the streets, the traffic lights were working and the cops had new cars, thanks all to the US taxpayer, but the average joe was poorer then ever. Almost everyone in Tbilisi were mountain villagers since the original city people all left the country. Oh and the hotel rooms were as expensive as Moscow's.
