The only one spitting in the eye of Bush at every opportunity is you and your leftist allies. But then you have no problems spending hours defending a little oligarch harlet and her billions while calling everyone who disagrees with you a traitor. That you would also be a free traitor more then happy to give away our nations resources to China and whom ever is rather fitting.

Our government tries to control the gas prices (as well as diesel) for the sake of giving farmers the way to crop the harvest. There is a seasonality factor in fuel demand in Russia (as well, as everywhere else, I guess). You may regard it as a form of subsidy. I trust none would claim that EU's CAP is a form of fascism? (FYI CAP - common agricultural policy, among other things it regulated the agricultural subsidies).

However the local FR "I see KGB agents under my bed" freemarket warriors treat it to their convenience. So be it.

The only voice of reason was "I must agree that I don't know enough about all of the aspects of the situation to comment intelligently."

/sarcasm on

Yarrrr... here are the communist fascists trying to control gas prices. They are going to freeze to death, at least sit in the dark throughout their neverending winter!

/sarcasm off
