She was arraigned before Manhattan federal Judge John Koetl. This is an obvious attempt by the U.S. government to silence dissent, curtail vigorous defense lawyers, and install fear in those who would fight against the U.S. government's racism, seek to help Arabs and Muslims being prosecuted for free speech and defend the rights of all oppressed people

Sory but had to post this info from her site. She helps a convicted terrorist spread the word of violence and hate and she's screaming about free speech and rights of the oppressed. Shes being sentenced not far from ground zero. I hope a nice crowd of Stewart haters turn out.

The worst punishment I can think of for her, would be a cell with mirrors on all four walls and the ceiling and floor.

Give her a Club Gitmo T-shirt and sentence her to a lifetime in Abu Graib with her Muslim brothers.

That would be "cruel and unusual".

This is an obvious attempt by the U.S. government to PUNISH A TERRORIST ENABLER

If we can't cut off her head, I guess I'd settle for about 25 years.

I hadn't even heard of her it before but it looks like another leftist twisting and spinning reality. Really pathetic.

The dead giveaway is the phrase "all oppressed people." Stewart and her supporters can't cite specific injustices, so they are forced to resort to lumping her in with everyone else with a gripe, legitimate or not.

The charges against Stewart were specific. They rested on specific facts. She doesn't face prison time because she hugged a Muslim once, but because she helped her client issue fatwas after agreeing not to do so. The prosecutor made the accusation and the jury convicted. I can't claim to be an expert or to have any special insight into the case, so I'll go with that until and unless new facts or legal rulings enter the picture.

But back to my more general observation -- the more broad the defense, the more vague the terms someone uses to defend himself, the less compelling the specifics of his case are. When he's forced to resort to something as broad as "free speech" and "all oppressed people," you know the lack of specifics is because the specifics are so odious that they would not engender any sympathy.

(Aside: I used the male singular pronoun because it's the grammatically appropriate one for a hypothetical person of indeterminate gender. It was not intended as a slur against Ms. Stewart [but, as an aside to the aside, just damn.])

Best sentence I can think of is deportation to the most repressive Islamic country on the face of the earth. Then she'll see just how valid and relevant her opinions are.

Heavy jailtime and she should lose her law license for good. Well, that might happen, (no, it won't), but if we were sane, she'd be stood up against a post and shot. The woman is a traitor.

She will get a slap on the wrist. She may lose her law license for a time. I see her getting no jail time at all.
House arrest with a monitor. Contact with her Islamic jihadists will continue in some fashion.

Wonder if Cindy will take time out of her "Sandra Dee" tour to see her off to prison?

Hey ... that's a great idea. Kill two "birds" with one stone.

Lynne needs a bunk mate and Cindy needs some consoling. That would work out well for all concerned. ;)
