I suspect you are talking about the general population. In that case, it would be astonishing if only 2-3% of the population produced over 51% of the pedophiles. So your statistic is not really meaningful, even if correct.
But in the Catholic Church scandals, well over 90% of the victims were teenage BOYS. There are no female priests. The Church has a homosexual priest problem.
I did not quote a statistic, nor did I address the percentage. I merely pointed out that the statement I referred to was wrong.
