Palestinian Authority Enraged Over Israeli Buffer Zone Plans

PA elements are furious because Israel proposes constructing a buffer zone between northern Gaza and mainland Israel - even though it is to be built in Israeli territory. |
The planned protective zone is to be at least seven kilometers (4.5 miles) long and 150 meters (165 yards) wide. Israel has two critical strategic areas in close proximity to northern Gaza: the crude oil tanks of the Ashkelon-Eilat oil pipeline, and the Rothenberg power station in Ashkelon.
Arutz-7's Haggai Huberman reports that a fence already exists along the Gaza-Israel border - part of which is concrete - and another fence is planned for the other side of the buffer zone. The community of Netiv HaAsarah is located practically on the Gaza border, and Yad Mordechai, Zikim and Karmiyah are just to the north.
The fact that the location of the planned buffer zone is in Israel has not stopped the Arabs of Gaza from threatening Israel. Gaza residents are quoted in the PA's Al-Ayam newspaper as saying they would even be willing to kill themselves in order not to allow Israel to "take over the lands once again" - though Israel has no intention of doing so at present.
The Iz A-Din Al-Kassam terrorist forces of Hamas have threatened "all-out war" against Israeli soldiers who attempt to reconquer land in Gaza. The Islamic Jihad Brigades, too, warned Israel against "stealing Palestinian lands." One Islamic Jihad leader said that his group sees the Israeli plan as a "renewed attack on Palestinian lands that have just been liberated from the Israeli conquest."

They are seething, rabid, vermin who are thrashing about at the very thought of being deprived of their targets of depradation. The palesites need to be roach bombed.

but, but...I thought they would be content with Gaza. They couldn't have further designs on Israel, could they?

The Israelis are not worried about political correctness when it comes to protecting their citizens. I wish our country felt the same way.

I must be missing something. Why are they upset?
'..."all-out war" against Israeli soldiers who attempt to reconquer land in Gaza."
Huh? Thought that Israel turned it over to the PA. An all out war? Must mean suicide bombers. Because, Hamas would never directly confront Israel.

The fact that the location of the planned buffer zone is in Israel has not stopped the Arabs of Gaza from threatening Israel. Mexico's reaction to an American fence is also irrational. In fact the Fox actually howls when border closure is discussed.
If the relief value of emigration is removed, the Mexican elite could well face violence from their own populous. History has many examples.

Watching this unfold is like watching the old Bud Abbot Lou Costello bit where they are down to their last two beans (I paraphrase): Abbot eats his bean in one bite and when Costello is about to eat his bean, he slices it in two to savor it.
Just as he is about to take his first bite, Abbot reminds him that buddies split 50-50 and Costello grudgingly agrees, whereupon Abbot eats 1/2 the bean leaving only 1/2 on the plate.
Once again, Costello cuts the half-bean in two and, with his fork almost about to skewer the 1/4 bean, Abbot again reminds him that buddies split 50-50 and eats one of the 1/4 bean pieces.
As Costello is vainly trying to once again halve what is left, he looks at Abbot and says,"Here, you eat it, I wasn't hungry anyway."

"The palesites need to be roach bombed." Agreed. Trying to negotiate with them is like trying to negotiate with a roach infestation.

Permanent rage is noise, it isn't tied to anything specific and is therefore meaningless. You use your squelch knob to dampen it and you ignore it.
I agree with this approach. The only suggestion I would make is that any area of Gaza used to stage attacks across the line should be razed and incorporated into the buffer zone. They can't be any more enraged than they already are, so any objections would be of no importance. Just noise.

Palis are upset that Israel is defending itself making it harder to attack by missile or suicide infiltrator. Get a life Palis.

PA elements are furious because Israel proposes constructing a buffer zone between northern Gaza and mainland Israel - even though it is to be built in Israeli territory. Only the Third World maniacs running the UN would take seriously the "Palestinians'" (tm, 1967) demand that Isael not be allowed to build upon its own land.
