I'm surprised that you would excuse the deaths of these elderly people by STATISTICS. Isn't that what the libs who think the death penalty is racist do? An unnecessary death is an unnecessary death, whether it comes in above or below the "averages."
If I may be so bold as to quote John Quincy Adams, speaking before the Supreme Court:
