Sometimes I think must be the only person left who doesn't have an iPod and doesn't feel the need for one.

I have eliminated all iPOD products from my upcoming mp3 player purchase as I dont want to be hamstrung with using iTunes - I want to be able to use windows explorer to move files onto and off of my mp3 player.
I keep hearing apple geeks proclaim this is possible with an iPOD but I found out for myself - nope.
Lots of mp3 players out there now.

I'm keeping my CDs, thank you. They are all encoded using a lossless format, played through an Emu soundcard on Mackie HR824s.
Beats the hell out of an iPod. :)

I don't work for SamAdams or Apple, but I sure agree with him. I love my iPod.
