Oh dearest Nan.. words sometimes seem so inadequate.
Being a pastoral care "person" does take its toll,no doubt. You are supposed to be the strong person, and most often are for everyone ELSE's sake.. but it does build & finally there is the event / death that breaks the camel's back.
then the flood gates of sadness, anger, frustration, pain for ALL OF THEM just come forth. My what a helpless feeling that is.
I know you KNOW this.. and I beg you to remind me when I have my "time"..

O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
Theres a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Refrain
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion
For more than conquerors we are!
Refrain
His Word shall not fail youHe promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
Refrain
