Religion of Silly Seething
Heres a followup to yesterdays post about a Muslim Burger King employee who threatened a jihad over a design for an ice cream package that resembled the Arabic symbol for Allah.
Burger King promptly capitulated and removed the product from their stores.
Today The Sun published a picture of the dastardly dessert. (Hat tip: zulubaby.)

Sounds like the dingbats here in the US who are enraged because the memorial resembles a crescent.

What a bunch of drama queens.

Now let me get this right, the Arabic symbol for Allah is a spinning ice cream cone?

That symbol doesn't belong on ice cream! Some enterprising company should put it on pork rinds or something equally appropriate!
And leave it there.

Both images remind me of dog turds.

I'm guessing that he ate a BACON double cheese burger and washed it down with the shake before filing a complaint.

Mohammed never ate ice cream, so I don't think Muslims should do something that Mohammed didn't do and obviously didn't approve of.
An imam has issued a fatwa against eating ice cream.

Sounds like somebody needs to sit down and enjoy a cool, tasy treat. Maybe they'll sit still long enough to grow some skin.

This may seem silly, but it's anything but. They start with seemingly inconsequential things to complain about and demand change, and then work up to the big stuff....the imposition of an Islamic state. If we accept the small stuff, we'll capitulate much faster in the end.

This is that "cultural confidence" that Steyn referred to in his articles on Islam. What it amounts to is a number of young Moslem men walking around with a chip on their collective shoulder daring the world to knock it off. Of course they're bullies. They're very successful bullies.
"Mau Mau"ing was a successful agitator's technique in the 70's until people started to fight back. This is nothing more than that bit of threat and violence rehashed. It will continue as long as it is successful.

Reason enough for me to break down and buy some Burger King ice cream do they have this at American outlets?

Whew, that was close. We wouldn't want Burger King to become a "gathering ground" for terrorists.
