There's no solid Republican leader coming up the ranks for 2008.

That's because too many so-called Republicans think that we can only beat a Liberal by running a RINO Liberal of our own.

These are the same people who snipe at Republicans who stand up for defending our borders and telling the Islamofascists what to expect if they launch a WMD attack on us.

Sure-fire way to lose the next election to Shrillary and crew is to run a RINO and tell the conservatives to suck it up (again).

I'm starting to see your point. I still contend that in some local elections, it's better to vote for the RINO then for the known liberal.

I don't see any true conservative winning in California, for example. I think it's a case of holding my nose and voting for Ah-nold in 2006. As bad as his poll numbers are right now, I don't think there's a true conservative in Calif today who can a) beat Arnie in the primary, b) beat the dems in the general.

Maybe I'm wrong. Hopefully I am.
