Fortunately, at the speed Rita's moving at we can hope for minimal flooding. Amen to that. Katrina passed through here so slowly, she dumped nearly 20 inches of rain in my area. Almost every neighborhood from Perrine south to Homestead had about two to three feet of water for a couple of days.
