From your link. Some flags and also it is more than taxes if you read something about these events
Kaczynski decided to organize the campaign in so called American style. That is why there is so many flags and other attributes. In fact it drive me to the conclusion that everything there was precisely staged. It was not spontaneous but planned.

Kaczynski?
Sorry but for me someone who supports state beaurocracy and progressive ("just") taxes cannot be considered right-winger. P&S stresses their prosocial and anti-libertarian agenda making fools of themselves not different to LPR, Samoobrona and SLD. Actually all of them would consitute a nice lefty coalition with Lepper as PM :)

This campaign is much better than the one in the "good old days" with Kongres Liberalno Demokratyczny.

I agree with ýou that the most important issue in politics is to support the middle class. Unfortunately, the middle class in Poland is not yet 50 % of the population, but with a flat tax it will grow faster than with the P&S program.

I have my own idea for PO & PiS to get out of that tax-clash.
With PiS's stubborn attitude there is no chance probably for the flat tax to become reality - provided PO will get more than 50% seats istelf, which is not very likely to happen (unfortunately).
I think there is a solution, that will let both parties to keep their promise (well, almost).
They should introduce 2 tax levels (like PiS wants)- let's say 15% and 25%.
But the latter one shoud be limited only to the people having 1-year income due to which they are qualified today to the 3rd level (40%).
In such a case - more than 90% of the people would pay a flat tax, and the rest would feel a really crucial relief also.
What do you think?

The AK veterans also endorse Kaczynski. They fought for Poland with their blood and I believe them. Are they leftists?
But do they really know free-market mechanisms or what's best for Poland economic development? I doubt it. I bet that in their economic views they are pure leftist just like P&S is.
Who serious supports Tusk? Business Center Club, which counts on more money saved from taxes! Who else?
Ask any private owner of any company of any size whose tax proposals he/she likes best. Yeah my friend - lean government and no beuraocracy, meaning Civic Platform. I hope you understand one day that someone has to earn monies someone other would like to spend on social priviliges. That's how it is in capitalism. That will be the day you'll become truly rightist. :) Best regards!

Unfortunately, we have to pay that price, but we're going in the right direction. Flat taxes and strict economical liberalism are the best but not now. We've got to wait some 20 years till the generations of the communist Poland are retired. Sad but true! You're probably right. And that is why reuniting East and West Germany so quickly was such a bad idea. The "Wall of the Mind" will exist for at least one or two more generations.
