This sounds a bit like the old idea that crack was a CIA plot to wipe out the black community.
What I find puzzling is why so many people are so willing to believe something that is so incredible.

"'Reasonable' Blacks Believe Levee Plot"
They also believe water flows uphill.
Maybe 'reasonable' isn't the right word.

The same people that believe the ship on Snapple bottles are slave ships because the KKK own Snapple. Check snopes if you don't believe me.Yeah, and besides, Rush Limbaugh loves the stuff!

They also believe water flows uphill. Yes, the conspiracy seems to involve reversing the laws of gravity to benefit white people. The Franch Quarter is ABOVE sea level, while the flooded neighborhoods were not. George Bush must have ben very clever to engineer that!

I once had an otherwise very bright African American student tell me that he firmly believed that the US Govt started AIDS to kill black folk. He was very serious, and I could not convince him otherwise. Of course, he was only 15 or 16, but it points out that the problem is that from a young age, some of these kids are taught that it is POSSIBLE and maybe even LIKELY that the white majority govt is out to get them and will stoop to all sorts of awful things to either hold them back or outright get rid of them. It's sad, but I'm not sure how you fight that.

Evidently being on high ground had nothing to do with not being flooded!

President Bush....
Q: What is Bush's position on Roe vs. Wade?
A: He really doesn't care how people get out of New Orleans.

"Reasonable" African Americans in New Orleans believe that the Bush administration engineered the levee breaks during Hurricane Katrina in a bid to save the city's white sections by flooding black neighborhoods, Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson said Sunday.
There! Someone had to add this to your illiterate Claim.

Unless there are retaining walls (levees) BETWEEN the sections of the town [that would indeed be a gated community writ large], flooding only predetermined parts of town selectively would be a nontrivial problem even for somebody with Karl Rove's magic powers, for water seeks its own level.

Where is Calypso Louie's proof? Someone with power and a good legal backgroud should force him to show proof to back up his allegations. But that would be a fruitless chore because HE HAS NO PROOF! He raises the issue just to stir the pot of racism. What a worthless sack of human excrement. If any property damage or deaths occur from any violence resulting from this bogus drek, louie should be thrown in jail and left there. We are sick to death of race-baiting tactics. He, along with je$$e and Big al should be held accountable for the actioncs of those created by their ravings.

As I compare and contrast this with the impromptu interview by an ABC reporter with Katrina refugees who refused to blame President Bush for anything and rightly placed blame on local officials in Louisiana, I highly doubt Robinson's report. It's more MSM manufacured news. What else is new?
I do not trust the media at all.
They lie to divide people and push their leftist agenda.
The ABC interviews you pointed out, reveal the truth of the situation. Despite the reporter's best efforts to twist the story, the people spoke the truth.

What I find puzzling is why so many people are so willing to believe something that is so incredible. The question is do they actually believe it, or, is Robinson talking out of his butt?

As a seriously demented intellect, I would like those who believe this nonsense to know that if it were true there would be no survivors.
And no one left to spread the tale.
Anywhere.
We are not that evil, though certain myth makers may want us to believe otherwise.

There was a study a few months back that claimed half of all black Americans believe the HIV virus was created by the government, or something like that. The article was posted on FR.

The ABC interviews you pointed out, reveal the truth of the situation. Despite the reporter's best efforts to twist the story, the people spoke the truth. Right. But this begs the question: Why are so many here willing to hear this and run with it with no questions asked?
I'm disappointed with NewsMax for running with this story. We have other things that demonstrate that this mindset, if it exists in a percentage as high as the MSM says it is, is not 100% across the board.
