Senseless loss of a great life. Really frustrating that we have to exist with people like this criminal. Great evidence why lawful citizens should carry protection.

Cobb County District Attorney Pat Head and the grand jury will have the final word on Roberts' legal fate
Perhaps the grand jury can award him a medal. No fool should even attempt to prosecute this, although it appears hopeful that Roberts has nothing to worry about.

Brian Clark, 25, was released from jail three months ago. He is also believed responsible for a Sept. 6 carjacking.and
Cobb County District Attorney Pat Head and the grand jury will have the final word on Roberts' legal fate.Perhaps the grand jury should investigate why Clark was released from jail. Investigation would probably show:
1) He has a record, probably violent, as long as your arm.
2) His original charge was plea-bargained down to a lesser offense.
3) He was released early because of "good behaviour".
4) While on parole, he never contacted his officer and nothing was done about it.
5) All of the above.

one less scumbag on the earth. He's heading south and am sure he is there already with flames licking at his heels as he meets his brother the devil.
One of God's beautiful creations gone forever. However, she is headed skyward and am sure she is there already with the arms of the Lord embracing her as she waits to be reunited with her loving family.
God bless her and her family.

In May 2004, Clark was charged in Cherokee County for first-degree forgery. He served a year in state prison and was released June 13. Police also suspect Clark is responsible for a rape, carjacking and robbery in Acworth on Sept. 6.
In that case, police believe Clark beat and raped a woman, then forced her to drive to a nearby bank so he could withdraw money from the bank's ATM.
During that attack, Clark stole a gun from the woman's home, police said.
That gun was finally found Monday near Clark's body after he was shot.
Rest in peace, Kimberly.
Thank you, Shawn.
You know, Kimberly is a hero too. Had she not struggled so valiantly, Shawn would not have seen her and tried to save her. Who kows how many victims Shawn and Kimberly saved? The "system" sure didn't save anyone.

In April 2002, Clark was arrested in Illinois and brought back
to Georgia to face child molestation, statutory rape and burglary charges in Cobb County, where he received an 18-month sentence, jail records show.
In May 2004, Clark was charged in Cherokee County for first- degree forgery. He served a year in state prison and was released June 13.
Police also suspect Clark is responsible for a rape, carjacking and robbery in Acworth on Sept. 6.

No kidding...the story was a real tearjerker. That pathetic scum like this is allowed to walk around really irks me. I feel bad that the victim couldn't be saved, but I agree with a previous poster that they probably prevented even more criminal activity.

"The driver ... had a gun in his hand, and the guy who was chasing him shot him," Porter said. "Then he hit his knees and started crying, because he turned around and saw the lady in the car was dead. I heard him say, 'Oh God.' "
I sincerely doubt that is why he said "Oh God!"

No, I believe that is a poorly written story with an ambiguous pronoun reference. I am sure it is the hero that went to his knees and was dismayed that he did not save the victim. I don't think the "Oh, God" was uttered by the perp who at that point we descending beneath the earth to rot in hell for eternity.
