To: who knows what evil?
I have the first two albums on the Tetragrammaton label.
Saw them live at the Boathouse in Hampton. In 1969.

Saw them live at the Boathouse in Hampton. In 1969. Must be nice. Didn't get to see Blackmore live until he was fronting 'Rainbow' with Graham Bonnet singing lead. (Missed Dio...damn.) Opening act? Ronnie Montrose's 'Gamma'...NOT one of the occasions where the opening act sucks...Montrose is vastly under-rated. Later on; had the privilege of seeing the reformed 'Deep Purple' on several occasions in the mid 80's...great, great concerts.

Hmmm, there are a few problems.
1. The Boathouse was in Norfolk, not Hampton.
2. It did not exist in 1969, it opened in 1983.
3. Deep Purple never played there.
