WTF... Miles Davis?!?

Now why in the *heck* would the "Picasso of Jazz" even be considered for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?!? And excuse me but the Sir Douglas Quintet?!?

Somebody's hittin' the pipe waaaay too often.

Sure, why not...and the 1910 Fruit Gum Company, the Cowsills, the Partridge Family, the Archies....

I don't think any Rock liberals should be admitted in to the Rock Hall of Fame.....so I guess this leaves Ted Nugent and Alice Cooper......:)

There is a category (I'm not sure exactly what it's called) in the HOF for non-rock musicians who have influenced rock. (It has a lot of country and blues musicians in it.) I assume Miles is being nominated in that category. Which makes sense, because the whole jazz-rock fusion movement of the 1970s (Return to Forever, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Weather Report, etc.) started with his In a Silent Way and Bitches Brew albums.
