If Hurricane Katrina has taught us anything its that you can't count on the government to help you at all. You need to take your life and well being into your own hands. Other then general emergency managemnt (police, fire and rescue) it seems the government fails to do anything right when it comes to taking care of its people.

""You know, we all hate government until we need it. So as a Democrat I think that is a positive thing for our country."

Clinton also expressed hope that the disaster would bring the races closer together.""

OMG.. and then there is speach and the speach was bad and dangerous.

From the Example of New Orleans and the gulf coast region.. it should teach that the Government can not take care of everyone!

You noticed that he said this on a British Television show?

Also Clinton can not really use the Races card one..
