I suppose.... Really, if the power of prenups fade and get mixed in with joint property with time, that's the way it should be, as over time, the wealth in the marriage ~should~ be expected to be jointly earned.
I always advocate a "termination date" in prenups.
IOW they sunset after say 20 years.
HOWEVER that assumes no children of a previous marriage.
EVen OVER TIME prenups specifically drafted to protect previous marriage children DO have significanly more life.
It just takes putting as much as possible in writing. Even to the point of puting INTENT in the document. The is important if you state has automatic "widows/widowers share" in intestacy laws.
