I agree with you .........
But, I don't know, maybe words get mixed up in every day human communication..... maybe I am not good at conveying what I want to say.... maybe I am not a good communicator, but, yes, that is basically what I am trying to say.... I don't disagree with you on that.
In Christ ( as Christians ) they both MAN & WOMAN, husband and wife are equal as Christians in Christ.
In the way God setup order, and authority, God ordained the husband ( I guess that is something all of us can ask God, WHY ? someday ) and setup order and authority in the household and family.
We can also see how God setup order in the Universe, as we can see the planets go around the sun in order .
God has a order, and method ( I guess you can call it that ) to maintain order in the world.
Another way that women can look at it is ?
As the husband as the head of the household and family and figurehead, is ? it is the MAN who God comes to for accountability for the family, and for his wife.
It is the MAN who God places the responsibility, and holds the man responsible.
It is also the way God setup it up to protect the wife and family ( if the husband is living the way God commands him to live and to love his wife as Christ loved the Church ).

Well, somewhere in there you and I agree. I believe that I am just as accountable to God as my late husband as to how our family and home were run. As I told you, my husband and I were partners. Neither of us made an important decision without first discussing it with the other. We also agreed upon how the children should be reared. Now, since his death, I am head of the household. And, yes, he was figuratively the head of the household when he was alive, but we made decisions TOGETHER.
